We’re honored you want to volunteer with Esther’s House.

If you feel your gifts and talents can be used in helping us continue to spread the mission of Esther’s House and offer hope to broken women, please let us know.

Volunteer Opportunities

Groups interested in serving at Esther’s House should contact info@ehor.org to find out how they can help. All volunteer group projects are pre-arranged tasks; they are supervised by staff at all times.

Minimum Ages: Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have an adult with them or a waiver signed by a parent/guardian or school official in order to serve at Esther’s House.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES

Please note that due to legal requirements, privacy policies, and the severity of the issues of our residents, volunteers at Ether’s House are very limited in their interaction with the residents and will NOT be involved in any of the following at any time:

Providing counseling or ministry to residents in the Esther’s House home.

Spending any unsupervised or one-on-one time with the residents in the Esther’s House home.

Engaging in any of the resident application review process

Driving any Esther’s House vehicles with or without residents

ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

Various administrative tasks (typing, filing, ordering office supplies, etc.)

Answering phones

Maintaining the library

Checking in residents from events

Wrapping Christmas presents

Monitoring snacks for residents on an eating plan

Overseeing mail

Preparing donor luncheon meals

Assisting with luncheon decor and gift bag assembly

Assembling gift baskets for special speakers and guests of Esther’s House

Thank you notes and calls to donors and friends of Esther’s House
